Advanced bodywork for pain relief and whole-body wellness

Specializing in Ida P. Rolf Method of Structural Integration (SI) and
Connective Tissue Massage

At JLee Bodywork, my focus is on helping you move freely and live pain-free. Through the Ida P. Rolf Method of Structural Integration (SI), and connective tissue massage, I address the root causes of tension, misalignment, and chronic pain. By working with your body’s fascia—the connective tissue that supports and connects all systems—I help create lasting changes that improve posture, enhance mobility, and relieve discomfort. Whether you’re looking for immediate pain relief or a comprehensive approach to long-term wellness, my personalized sessions are designed to help you feel aligned, energized, and fully at ease in your body. Let’s work together to help you move, live, and thrive.

What is connective tissue?

Connective tissue is a vital, continuous network of fibers that supports, connects, and protects the body’s organs, muscles, bones, and other structures. It provides structural stability, enables movement, and aids in healing. Fascia, a type of connective tissue, plays a key role in maintaining alignment, flexibility, and overall body function.

Move, feel, and live better with Ten-Series of Structural Integration bodywork

Structural Integration is a transformative bodywork approach that focuses on aligning and balancing the body within the field of gravity. Developed by Dr. Ida Rolf, this method works by releasing restrictions in the fascia—the connective tissue network that surrounds and supports every muscle, bone, and organ. Through a series of 10 sessions, SI systematically addresses deep-seated tension and habitual patterns that cause misalignment, helping to improve posture, reduce chronic pain, and enhance movement. Unlike temporary pain relief techniques, Rolfing creates lasting changes by restoring the body’s natural balance and allowing for effortless alignment. Whether you’re seeking relief from pain, improved athletic performance, or a deeper connection with your body, Rolfing can help you move, feel, and live better.

a powerful approach for individuals seeking lasting physical & emotional transformation

Benefits of Structural Integration (SI) Bodywork

Reduce Chronic Pain

By releasing tension and restrictions in the fascia, SI can alleviate chronic pain caused by injuries, poor alignment, or repetitive stress.

Improve Posture

SI aligns the body within the gravitational field, reducing strain on muscles and joints, and promoting a natural, upright posture.

Enhanced Mobility & Flexibility

SI restores flexibility to fascia, improving the body’s range of motion and allowing for greater ease and efficiency in movement.

Better Body Awareness

Clients often develop a deeper connection with their bodies, learning to recognize and change patterns of tension or misalignment.

Stress Reduction

The physical and emotional release during SI sessions can help decrease stress and promote a sense of relaxation and balance.

Injury Prevention

By addressing and correcting structural imbalances, SI reduces the risk of future injuries, supporting long-term health and well-being.

What People Are Saying

“Since I started seeing Joshua Lee, all my issues with my hips, back, and shoulders have improved significantly. The numbness in my legs has disappeared, and the tingling in my fingers has completely stopped.”

Luis

Hairstylist

“I first discovered Structural Integration in the late ’80s after an accident and had a 10-series. Over the years, I saw various practitioners with mixed results. Josh suggested another 10-series, and the results were astounding—improved strength, better posture, no pain, and a deeper understanding of how to release harmful movement patterns. After the last session, I was able to dance and move freely for the first time in years. I highly recommend JLee Bodywork!”

I would recommend Structural Integration for anyone that feels chronically “tight” or has issues with their posture leading to pain. Josh is a valued colleague whose main focus is to improve his clients’ health and wellbeing. As someone who has benefited from the program, I am confident in referring clients and friends to him.

Joshua Lee Fouunder & Practitioner

My goal is to empower clients to move beyond temporary pain relief by healing past injuries, gaining body awareness, and improving movement patterns.

For over 30 years, I built houses—a physically demanding career that left me with numerous injuries and chronic pain. At the time, I believed pain was something I just had to live with. Despite the discomfort, I sought to enjoy life as much as possible, which eventually led me to social dancing.

Through dancing, I met my wife, who introduced me to health, nutrition, and holistic healing. It was during this time that I discovered Structural Integration. To my surprise, it made a profound difference in my life. Not only did it help me return to work with greater ease, but it also allowed me to enjoy life more fully, with increased energy, stamina, and the most significant benefit — I was pain-free!

After completing the Ten-Series and advanced bodywork, I experienced dramatic improvements in posture, movement, and overall body alignment. Standing upright became effortless, which enhanced my dancing and even enabled me to compete and place at events. My improved body mechanics inspired me to adopt a healthier lifestyle, including regular exercise and mindful choices that supported my overall well-being.

This transformative experience motivated me to leave the construction industry and dedicate my life to helping others achieve similar results. My passion is to help individuals live and move freely in their bodies, addressing chronic pain and fostering sustainable, long-term changes.

At JLee Bodywork, my goal is to empower clients to move beyond temporary pain relief by healing past injuries, gaining body awareness, and improving movement patterns. By working with fascia, aligning the body, and consciously releasing habitual tensions, we create soft tissue that is less prone to injury and a foundation for lasting health.

I believe in equipping my clients with the tools and knowledge to reduce dependency on therapy and embrace a lifestyle that prioritizes alignment, freedom, and resilience. Together, we can unlock your body’s natural potential and move toward a life of pain-free living.
